A new study backs up the old advice that for a good outcome in the operating room, it's best if you have an experienced surgeon. According to a new study published online in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, prostate cancer patients treated by highly experienced surgeons are much more likely to be cancer-free five years after surgery than patients treated by surgeons with less experience.
